The G2-class Carrier is a container ship modelled by Jorbunga. She was added in Update 23 on July 8th, 2018.
Information[]
The G2-class are container ships, some of which were requisitioned by the British government to help in the Falklands War (these being Atlantic Conveyor and Atlantic Causeway). Atlantic Conveyor was hit on 25 May 1982 by two Argentine air launched AM39 Exocet missiles, killing 12 sailors. Atlantic Conveyor sank whilst under tow on 28 May 1982.
She was a 14,950 ton RO/RO container ship owned by Cunard. She was built along with six other container ships, each named with the prefix Atlantic, and each sailing under different national flags by different companies for the Atlantic Container Line consortium.
Exterior Description[]
The G2 has a red lower hull with two rudders and a dark blue upper hull with numerous ACL logos, The deck is a orange-brown colour and mostly empty except for the very front which has a barrier and some small details. At the very back is a lower deck with extra details but this can't be reached due to collisions. Near the back is the main superstructure, which is all white and has numerous floors. There are two orange, non-deployable lifeboats on either side.
When the Wartime skin is equipped the containers you get from loading are replaced with numerous aircraft hidden on port and starboard sides by containers. The aircraft present are Boeing Chinooks, Westland Wessexes and British Aerospace Sea Harriers.
The Classic Skin adds white details to the deck.
Interior Description[]
Despite a large superstructure, the only interior is the bridge. The bridge has a 'U' shape with the bottom of the U being where the main control panel goes. The control panel has five black passenger seats and the driver seat which is red.
Usage[]
The G2-class Carrier is a cargo ship that delivers containers. She is a very popular grind ship and is a important stepping stone in progressing through the game, normally used after the Alabama-class and used to grind for the INCAT or Spirit-class.
The G2's optimal route is from Wolin-Puerto Ushuaia, earning roughly ~160k credits.

- It used to be the ship with the highest payout until it got dethroned by the Arctic-class LNG Carrier in Update 40
- This is first cargo ship to have cargo stored both at the stern and the bow
- This ship was originally was too tall to fit under the old Wolin Bridge and gantry cranes at the Container Terminals in high tide
- The Wartime skin is unique as it's the only skin obtained via a quest and one of two skins that can be obtained without robux (along with the Freyr-class' Radio Ship skin)
